About Carmen Clews
Carmen Clews is a British-born painter and sculptor based between Cape Town and Bali. Her work explores the unseen layers of life, drawing on holistic and spiritual practices to create pieces that evoke joy, vulnerability, and transformation.
Her sculptures and paintings are held in private collections across South Africa, London, Dubai, and France — including that of Hollywood producer Arnon Milchan. Carmen has exhibited at renowned South African galleries such as Grande Provence, Art in the Yard, MOK Gallery, and Knysna Fine Art.
